The DRN project is located on the corner of Národní streets
and Mikulandská in the center of Prague. This is
about the combination of the baroque Schönkirch Palace with a modern new building by the architect Stanislav Fiala from 2017. Interweaving of the baroque world
with the modern, the connection of the old and the new, are motifs that permeate the entire object.
Valuable Gothic cellars, vaults, stone stairs, masonry, beamed ceilings and paintings on the walls were discovered in the Baroque palace. Everything has been carefully restored and supplemented with an emphasis on craftsmanship. The original roof was restored
in an authentic baroque form using ancient carpentry procedures.
